Accubid announced today that its cadLive cad-based estimating system now supports takeoffs of non-CAD images including .PDF, .TIF, .DWF, .JPG, .PNG, .TGA, .GIF and other image file formats.
Takeoff of non-Cad files such as PDFs allows the estimator to perform on-screen takeoff directly into the Accubid job database. Fully paperless estimating is accomplished by providing the user’s own Accubid data on the same screen as the PDF. The cadLive interface also allows portable takeoffs to be shared across unlimited image files and estimates.
