Accubid Estimating Software Training—Fundamentals

Summary:
The Accubid Estimating Software - Fundamentals (2 day) product training lab is designed to equip new
users with an understanding of the features and functions of the Accubid Pro and BidWinner Plus estimating
applications. The learning objective is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to use
these programs productively in their workplaces. Instruction takes place in a classroom setting using a
method that combines instructor-led demonstrations with a high degree of hands-on practical exercises to
reinforce learning. Class sizes are kept small to ensure a rich and rewarding learning experience.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of training, participants will be able to:
- Effectively navigate the Accubid estimating system
- Accurately describe workflow through the Accubid estimating system
- Create and modify default jobs
- Create and complete new estimate job files
- Understand and navigate the Item and Common Assembly databases
- Perform takeoff using the available modes of takeoff
- Demonstrate an understanding of the functions in the Extension screen
- Understand the functions of the bid closing screens (Direct Labor through to Quoted Material)
- Understand the Final Pricing screen
