It’s official!
Accubid
software is the leading estimating software for the specialty contracting
industry
Toronto, August 23, 2002:
Accubid, A Division of Trimble, the leading North American supplier of PC-based cost estimating software for Electrical, Mechanical and Structured Cabling/VDV contractors, is pleased to announce the findings of the highly regarded CFMA Information Technology survey. Based on the results of the 2002 CFMA Information Technology for the Construction Industry survey, Accubid estimating programs are used by more speciality contractors than any other estimating software in the industry*.
While more contractors still use Excel—Microsoft’s general-purpose spreadsheet program—Accubid was chosen by more than twice as many contractors as the next leading estimating program.
Accubid estimating programs are powerful, flexible, and easy to use. For those contractors still using Excel to prepare their bids, Accubid programs can save both time and money, allowing them to copy and paste existing takeoffs, repeat takeoffs over multiple floors and systems, and view alternate bid summaries.
“I am extremely pleased with the findings of the CFMA’s independent survey” said Giovanni Marcelli, Accubid’s President and CEO. “Accubid will continue to deliver solutions that will make the professional contractor more productive and profitable. Our challenge is to continue providing software that remains easy to use while assisting the estimator and the project manager in estimating, labor scheduling, material purchasing, and evaluating change notices, with the objective to complete the project profitably and on time. We will continue to integrate next generation technologies into all our software products while never losing focus of our target market. Our strong vision and commitment to the industry will continue to drive our every move”.
